Meet Cam

Born in Scotland and raised in the USA, G.C. (Cam) Cameron was introduced to massage, weightlifting, calisthenics, and boxing by his father, a physical fitness instructor in the British Army. A love of comedy impelled Cam into theatre, performing as an actor, stuntman, and fight choreographer. Increasingly fascinated by martial arts, Cam spent the next 20 years teaching tai chi, kung fu, and shiatsu.

A catastrophic back injury changed everything. Unable to lift his left leg, take a deep breath, or stand up straight, Cam applied his martial art knowledge to no avail. Desperate, Cam tried isometric flex of the glutes and inner thighs, squeezing the heels inward at 30% power for 30 seconds. Relief was instantaneous. Ten minutes later the spasms returned. Another 30 seconds squeeze and the pain disappeared.

At this moment Revive-A-Back was born. After three weeks of applying simple 30 second flexes, Cam was symptom free. Above and beyond pain relief, flexing for 30 seconds at 30% power 3 times a day produced a greater degree of strength and suppleness than years of martial art workouts of 3-5 hours a day. These brief flexes became the template for Revive-A-Back
to heal and self-correct.

The joy of teaching Revive-A-Back is that the body works when you give it a chance. Giving the body a chance requires a change of focus, creating and attitude of encouragement by concentrating on what you can do, not what you can't do.

Muscles and bones are designed for strength, heart, and soul. They are made for courage. Revive-a-Back flexes address all manner of injuries, from athletic mishap to catastrophic trauma, stroke and paralysis.

Revive-A-Back changes more than muscles. Revive-A-Back changes our vision of the body, removing habitual opinions and making apparent our divine design. Our muscles and bones know how to repair injuries, restore balance, and release
tension.  By removing subconscious negative habits, we trigger the body's healing capacity to repair injury, restore strength, courage, hope, and peace of mind.
